Essential WordPress SEO without the clutter
Concepty Simple SEO is a free, lightweight WordPress plugin for managing core SEO metadata directly from the page and post editors. Its global settings have a dedicated Concepty Simple SEO admin menu.

Straightforward settings
Choose whether the website represents an organization or a person, enter the public display name, and configure the Schema.org author for posts: WordPress author, organization or none. A technical login name is not exposed as author when it matches the public display name. The WordPress custom logo is used when available.
What is intentionally excluded
No XML sitemap manager, robots.txt editor or redirects. No keyword scoring, SEO scores or AI tools.
Installation
1. Back up the website and test on staging.
2. Install and activate the WordPress plugin.
3. Open the Concepty Simple SEO menu for general settings.
4. Edit posts and pages to set metadata and indexing preferences.
5. Inspect the output of your theme and other SEO plugins to avoid duplicate tags.
Frequently asked questions
Does it generate a sitemap?
No. Sitemaps are managed independently.
Can I exclude a page from indexing?
Yes, using noindex. Indexing is allowed by default.
Can my company be the author?
Yes, for the Schema.org author of posts.
Is the Google preview exact?
No. Google may choose another title or snippet. The plugin cannot guarantee search rankings.
