Module description
Find missing pages in your store
Deleted product pages, broken links and crawler requests can all generate 404 errors. Concepty 404 Error Monitor logs eligible errors processed by PrestaShop so you can review them and add relevant permanent redirects when appropriate.
Key features
- List of logged 404 URLs with request counts, first and latest occurrence, and the last known referrer when available.
- Filters for To review, Ignored, 301 redirects and All.
- Manual 301 redirects to internal destination paths, with options to change or remove a rule.
- Optional filtering of common nuisance probes targeting WordPress, .env and .git paths.
- Adjustable retention for unresolved errors and a maximum number of stored URLs per shop.
- Manual and periodic cleanup of expired unresolved entries.
- Per-shop operation for PrestaShop multistore setups.
Easy back-office management
Install the module and open its settings. Detected errors appear in a list. You can review, ignore or redirect each URL to a relevant internal destination. Always confirm that the target page works and matches the original intent; redirecting every missing URL to the homepage is not recommended.
Scope and limitations
Only eligible HTTP 404 responses processed through PrestaShop are monitored, including requests from humans and bots. Counts are requests, not unique visitors. Server-side 500 errors, static files handled directly by the web server and some external caches are outside the module’s scope. The module does not log IP addresses, cookies or user agents. Pausing tracking does not disable saved 301 redirects, whereas disabling the module does.
Installation and compatibility
Free module designed for PrestaShop 9.X, version 1.0.0. Install through the Module Manager. No override, theme changes or CRON required. Back up your store and test redirects in your own environment.
